About Sporting
Sporting is the most widespread type of shooting globally. Using an ordinary sporting
gun, maximum calibre 12.
Maximum shot size and weight are 2.5 mm and 28 grams. The sporting gun must hold a maximum of two cartridges.
The targets are thrown from all directions to simulate hunting of for ex. snipes, teals, rabbits, pheasants and ducks.
This type of shooting is possible in both small and large areas, as there are no specific rules covering the
shooting. Hunting organisations or -associations can make their own rules about how many trap machines and targets they want to
use. Sporting should be fun and instructive for both trained and inexperienced
shooters. Everybody will have a chance practising sports and
hunting.
